Halloween Hangover 2026

Halloween Hangover 2, Electric Boogaloo

I’m beyond psyched to be attending the second annual Halloween Hangover in Asbury Park. The free-admission gig will take place 12-5 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 7 at Groovy Graveyard, 658 Cookman Ave., in hip, historic Asbury.

The multi-media event will highlight “Horror Town,” a four-song EP by horror punkers Gatlin. Playing theremin on the record is none other than comic book artist Mike Koneful, the guy who loves Bela Lugosi and the Phillies more than life itself. Mike will be on hand at the Hangover, as well as host Eric Krause, proprietor of Groovy Graveyard.

Here’s a track from the EP:

When Koneful’s theremin kicks in (0:38), it’s kinda Rob Zombie-ish.

Below is Eric’s poster for the Nov. 7 show, which incorporates German Robles as Count Lavud (but I digress):

I’ll be on hand with hot-off-the-press copies of my latest book, “Son of Monster Mash,” a 192-page color hardcover and sequel to 2015’s Rondo-Award-winning “Monster Mash.” More about “Son of” HERE.

To help get in the Halloween spirit, here’s the trailer for “El Vampiro” starring Robles as Count Lavud.

Anyways, I hope to see y’all at the Halloween Hangover, gawd willing!
